What we feed our dogs can have a huge effect on their general health and behaviour, and many will steal food at any given opportunity!
A dog's diet should contain 80% meat and 20% bone.

WHAT WE FEED OUR DOGS CAN BE CAUSING ALLERGIES

BENEFITS OF FEEDING RAW FOOD

Symptoms can include:

  • Itchy Skin

  • Weeping Eyes

  • Ear Infections

  • Overall Behaviour

  • Feet Biting

Not all dogs suffer from allergies, if however, your dog has suddenly started to experience any of the above symptoms check to make sure you have not used a different shampoo or other product.
Maybe you have just changed their food to another brand or have given them a different brand of chews.
It is worth checking as this could save you money when visiting a vet who may be treating the problem but not the cause.
I know from experience as this happened with one of my own dogs before I gained my Level 4 qualification in Dog Nutrition.

  • Smaller more solid poo, this is because they are digesting more nutrition as the body releases anything it does not need.

  • No smelly wind as better digestion

  • No bad breath

  • Glossy coat and bright eyes

  • Better behaviour

  • Better General Heath leading to fewer visits to the vets saving on vets bills

Raw food can also be purchased in a dry form for more convenience, it is also more expensive however the benefits out way the cost.
